Congratulations to George Clooney and his new wife, Amal Alamuddin! The actor and human rights lawyer were wed this weekend in Venice, and have since been spotted wearing their wedding rings.
Clooney, 53, has opted for a slim platinum band with a smooth, shining finish. Amal is wearing a delicate micropavé diamond wedding ring, also in platinum. It’s a stunning match for the emerald-cut diamond engagement ring that Clooney proposed with, back in April of this year.
Guests at the star-studded wedding included Bono, Bill Murray, Matt Damon, Anna Wintour, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski. Cindy Crawford’s husband, Rande Gerber, is rumored to have been Clooney’s best man.
For the ceremony, Amal wore a custom Oscar de la Renta gown, while George opted for a custom Armani suit and cufflinks. Amal later changed into a stunning Giambattista Valli floral dress, as they travelled by water taxi down the city’s Grand Canal.
Clooney was previously married to Talia Balsam, from 1989 to 1993. This is Amal’s first marriage.
