You don’t have to visit a tropical destination to have a romantic honeymoon! Paris is considered the most romantic city in the world, making it the perfect place for newlyweds. There’s lots to do in Paris, so there will never be a dull moment – it’s loaded with amazing restaurants, landmarks, and museums. You and your new spouse can get a romantic view of the city at the top of the Eiffel Tower, or go to the famous Pont des Arts and attach a love lock to the bridge.

In the fall there are fewer tourists in the city, so if you hate crowds, this is the perfect time to go. It’s also an optimal time to visit because prices on hotel rooms are generally lower. The weather in the fall is beautiful with an average high of 70 degrees in September.

Napa Valley makes for another incredible honeymoon destination. If you’re a wine-loving couple, this is the place for you. The fall is the best time of year to visit Napa Valley because it’s the time of year when grapes are harvested – you and your spouse can watch the wine creation process together! Why not pick up a nice bottle of wine that you can open for your 10 year anniversary? It’ll be even more special to open someday because you got it on your honeymoon together. There are fewer tourists at this time of year (peak season is during the summer) so you can enjoy more alone time with your spouse.
