Contact Customer Service to initiate the upgrade process.

3. Send back diamond & Setting


Once we receive your diamond and/or setting we'll inspect it and promptly follow-up with you.

The Details

• Upgrade to a diamond that is at least 50% greater in value than your original diamond

• You then put this credit towards a new Ritani diamond

• Either use your original Ritani setting for the new diamond, or accept additional
credit for your setting as determined by Ritani Customer Service

• We exchange your diamond purchased from Ritani after October 11, 2012 for credit equal
to 100% of its original value


Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I upgrade any diamond?
    Any Ritani diamond purchased directly on after October 11, 2012 is eligible, as long as they are certified by the GIA or AGSL.
  • What condition should my diamond be in?
    Your diamond must be in its original condition, according to its grading report. Any damage to the original diamond may disqualify the diamond from our upgrade program.
  • Can I reuse my diamond's setting?
    If your diamond is set in a Ritani setting, and is in reusable condition, we can use it to set your new diamond. If the new diamond does not fit, we will return it to you or modify it for additional cost. If Ritani did not originally set your diamond, the diamond must be exchanged without the setting. If you wish to trade in your Ritani setting, any possible credit exchange will be determined on a case-by case basis.
  • Do I need my diamonds original grading report to upgrade?
    Yes. The original diamond grading report must be returned in reusable condition. Fees may apply for any damaged reports.
  • Is the Ritani upgrade program available internationally?
    The diamond upgrade program is available for purchases shipped within the US. Upgrades for other countries may be eligible on a case-by-case basis. Your upgrade purchase must be made in the original currency. Please consult with a Ritani Customer Service Representative about the specifics of international returns.
