One Tree Hill Alum Stephen Colletti and NASCAR Reporter Alex Weaver are Engaged

After two years of dating, One Tree Hill and Laguna Beach star Stephen Colletti popped the question to NASCAR reporter and host Alex Weaver while on vacation in Rome. Colletti proposed to Weaver at the Cypress and Orange Tree Garden above the Tiber River. Weaver took to Instagram to announce their engagement with a heartfelt post featuring two photos. In the first photo, the couple shares a romantic kiss while sitting on a ledge, with a panoramic view of the Italian capital as the backdrop. In this photo, Weaver affectionately cradles her fiancé's face with her left hand, subtly showing her gorgeous new engagement ring. The second image captures Weaver's hand proudly displaying her oval-shaped diamond ring, with her smiling fiancé in the background.

Colletti, 37, and Weaver, 27, officially confirmed their relationship in August 2022. Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Weaver, who is currently a host and reporter for NASCAR, also serves as a pit-road reporter for Motor Racing Network. Colletti has been known for his past relationships, including his high-profile romances with Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad. Together, he and Kristin Cavallari launched the Back to the Beach podcast, where they revisit the MTV series that brought them into the spotlight.

Before the romantic proposal, the couple explored Rome, indulging in gelato and pasta. Alex shared glimpses of their adventures on her Instagram Stories, capturing the moments leading up to the heartfelt proposal when Stephen took a knee.
